The series is based on the book, Regeneration, Ending the climate crisis in one generation by Paul Hawken & its corresponding website. Each show how individuals, groups, and organizations can make a difference by taking concrete actions towards solving the climate crisis.
Each webinar in the series will explore a topic from the book and will feature speakers with experience in the field.

Jamie Calderon, Director of Standards Development
Jamie joined NERC in 2015 as an engineer developing Reliability Assessments and transitioned in 2017 to a senior engineer role with Compliance Assurance, and then Standards Development in 2023. Prior to joining NERC, Jamie served as a Transmission Planning Engineer and Bulk Power dispatcher for the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG). Jamie Calderon received her bachelor’s degree of science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia.
Sean Casey, CEM, LEED AP, Decarbonization Technical Lead, AECOM
As the Decarbonization Technical Lead in the Building + Places group at AECOM, Sean has expertise in corporate sustainability, decarbonization (operational and embodied), and strategic energy planning. His clients include New York City real estate, technology, manufacturing, and entertainment companies, transportation agencies, and various Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. Prior to joining AECOM, Sean was a Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory where, as a Principal Investigator for net-zero energy building research, he published several works that supported the US Department of Energy’s sustainability goals. Sean is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers and a LEED Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Dickenson College and a Master of Science in Building Systems Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Aimee Witteman, Vice President, Network, Rewiring America
As Vice President of Network at Rewiring America, Aimee leads the investment, policy, and partnership functions and teams, guiding strategy and ensuring alignment with Rewiring America’s mission. She brings over two decades of experience leading federal and state policy and grassroots campaigns, working with philanthropies, governments, businesses, and nonprofits to accelerate deep decarbonization of the US economy. Previously, Aimee served in the Biden Administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs at the Department of Energy and has worked extensively in regional and national climate philanthropy. She has served as Vice President of States and Regions at the Energy Foundation, Director of US States Policy at the Climate Imperative Foundation, and for a decade worked at the McKnight Foundation where she designed and led the Midwest Climate and Energy program. Following passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, she served as interim CEO to set up Invest in Our Future. A passionate and proud daughter of the Great Lakes, Aimee grew up in north-central Wisconsin and lives in Takoma Park with her family, goofy dog, and many bikes.

Dina is a Project Manager and Program Ambassador at Leaders in Energy (LE) and contributes to other LE projects aimed at advancing sustainable energy solutions and environmental stewardship.
She is a consultant to the World Bank in the Global Indicators Group (DECIG). DECIG supports the World Bank Group and the development community by providing quantitative assessments of the business environment to promote growth through innovation and entrepreneurship, equality of opportunities and economic sustainability.
