Leaders in Energy has volunteer opportunities for those interested in leveraging their skills in the clean energy and sustainability arena. The volunteer activities are often great ways to enhance your resume, pick-up new skills, connect with current and aspiring leaders in the industry, and gain new and/or additional experience in the clean energy and sustainability arena.

Seeking individual to serve in a leadership role in identifying, reviewing, and developing articles on energy and sustainability topics for posting on our Leaders in Energy blog.
Time Commitment: TBD
Preferred experience includes prior experience in graphic design/communication and an interest in climate and the environment (particularly solutions like renewable energy)

NEWSLETTER CONTRIBUTOR
Newsletter Contributor to develop Leaders In Energy’s bi-monthly newsletter for LE’s 5,000+ member network. This includes: local and regional events, green jobs, the latest environmental news and featured blog articles.
Time commitment: TBD
Preferred experience includes prior experience in graphic design/communication and an interest in climate and the environment (particularly solutions like renewable energy)

GRAPHIC / MOTION DESIGNER
The Graphic / Motion Designer is responsible for implementing the organization’s brand visual identity through websites, landing pages, templates, videos and blogging & social media pages.
We are looking for a creative mind using visuals to convey powerful concepts and ideas.
Preferred experience includes up-to-date knowledge of design software, motion/design knowledge and prior experience in a similar role.

SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT MANAGER
The Social Media Assistant Manager supports the organization’s social media accounts, implementing content strategies on the organization’s social media platforms. His/her duties include identifying trends in customer interactions, planning digital campaigns to build communities online and analyzing engagement data.
We are looking for a prolific and talented content creator and engagement manager, a savvy wordsmith.
Preferred experience includes a degree or equivalent in digital marketing, and experience in developing social media strategies (preferably on LinkedIn and Twitter).

MEMBERSHIP
Work with LE Team on member outreach, content (service/benefit) and continuing to create/maintain value for members. Focus on the benefits of (and definition of) membership in LE; consider pros/cons of membership sites and membership levels (freemium/premium).

VOLUNTEER CO-DIRECTOR
Work with Volunteer Director with regard to outreach to new volunteers:
Deploy/recommend targeted talent to open positions in the organization;
Recruit event reporters & additional event assistance (as needed);
Contact and meet virtually with new volunteers (as-need basis);
Maintain/update current CRM database
