Come Join Us at the Oatlands Strawberry Festival on May 30!

You are invited to join Leaders in Energy members in the Washington DC and Loudoun County area for a fun family-oriented event at the first Oatlands Strawberry Festival at Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg Virginia (6 miles south of Leesburg on Route 15). This event will feature hayrides, strawberry picking, and more to celebrate organic and regenerative agriculture. See the Oatlands Strawberry Festival website for more information.

We will plan to meet at the picnic tables at 1 pm between the Carriage House and the Mansion.

The festival celebrates all things strawberry. Festival goers enjoy a variety of family friendly activities including children’s games, music, dancing, and a hay ride that takes riders on a tour through the historic grounds of Oatlands. Southern Winds band is providing the music and they are bringing along a special dance instructor to keep the festival jumping and jiving. Special food vendors include Hill High BBQ and Pop-Pop’s Kettle Corn. There will be beer and wine available for purchase as well. Look for special strawberry related items and special guests throughout the festival. U-pick strawberries are available for an additional fee.

NOTE: This is a public event sponsored by Oatlands Plantation which runs on Saturday, May 30 from 10:00 am to 4 pm that day. So feel free to come whenever you like and Leaders in Energy members will meet at 1 pm at the picnic tables.
