Come meet up with other Leaders in Energy members and their families in the Washington DC area and Loudoun County to celebrate sustainable and local agriculture at the Oatlands Strawberry Festival. There will be hayrides and strawberry picking, as well as food trucks, beer and wine, music, and self-guided tours of the mansion on this site of 3000 acres in Loudoun County. We will plan to meet at 1 pm by the picnic tables (between the Carriage House and the Mansion). You may also wish to bring blankets for seating as the number of picnic tables are limited. (The entire festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm).
NOTE: Leaders in Energy is not sponsoring this event and this is an informal fun gather for the group in terms of participating in this public festival. This Strawberry Festival is being held at Oatlands Plantation for the first time and which they hope will be a continuing annual occurrence.
