Experience the Living Building Challenge at the Alice Ferguson Foundation

Leaders in Energy and DC Net Impact is partnering on this event with the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) DC Chapter for a tour of one of only 12 structure in the world that have met the Living Building Challenge (LBC). This private event at The Alice Ferguson Foundation, located on the Potomac River, includes a panel discussion of experts who will share technical details of the LBC, the development of the building and the certification progress, and the relevant of LBC to Energy and Sustainability Professionals.

Plan to arrive at 9:45 for a day of inspiring content and activities, including tour of the building, hands-on activities, lunch, and a rich panel discussion on lessons learned, challenges, technical systems, and more. Plan to stay after to tour the grounds and network with energy and sustainability peers. Dress comfortably and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In keeping with their environmental mission, AFF limited parking and encourages carpooling. Event organizations with coordinate ride-sharing.
