Book Discussion of Blackout: A Novel

September 19, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm UTC-5

Join Leaders in Energy for our upcoming book discussion on Marc Elsberg’s disaster thriller Blackout, a fascinating depiction of a world affected by grid failure. A number of you were interested in meeting to discuss the book, so we made it happen!
When: Tuesday, September 19 from 6:30 -8:30 pm

The author’s publicist has donated a blackout emergency preparedness survival bag for one of us to take home!!

Depending on the number of people, we might walk over to Whitlow’s and hold the discussion there so we can eat, drink and be merry. Otherwise, we will have some refreshments available. Come even if you haven’t finished the book!

Where: Arlington Independent Media, 2701 Wilson Blvd #C, Arlington, Va. 22201. Please RVSP to leilamathur@gmail.com or call 703-568-4937. Light refreshments will be served but we need a headcount!
This is a relevant theme given the hurricane that caused a blackout throughout the Caribbean and Florida.
